USA’s Bradley earns Golden Ball Award presented by Scotiabank
SANTA CLARA, California – United States midfielder Michael Bradley was named winner of the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup’s Golden Ball presented by Scotiabank as the tournament’s most outstanding player. The announcement was made Wednesday after the USA defeated Jamaica, 2-1, in the final at Levi’s Stadium.
The 29-year-old made three appearances in the competition, each of them in the knockout rounds.
He had an assist against El Salvador in the quarterfinals, while performing superbly as the conduit between the defense and offense.
