SANTA CLARA, California – In addition to winning the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup title, the United States earned the competition’s Fair Play Award.

In six matches, the Americans were issued only eight yellow cards -- including three in Wednesday’s 2-1 win over Jamaica – and had no player either ejected or suspended.

The Jamaicans had captured the same honor two years earlier, when it also finished as runner-up.
