PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad & Tobago -- Trinidad & Tobago head coach Stephen Hart announced Monday a preliminary roster in preparation for July’s CONCACAF Gold Cup.

With an eye on a June 16 international friendly at Jordan, the Soca Warriors went through their paces at a training session earlier in the day at Hasely Crawford Stadium.

“This squad will begin phase one of our preparations for the CONCACAF Gold Cup,” Hart said.  “It is not a final squad.  We have a friendly international against Jordan later this month and I will announce a final squad for that which could also include different players.

“There are adjustments to be made and we are working towards preparing the team in the best possible way for Jordan and whichever other preparation matches are afforded to us going into the Gold Cup.”

The 20-man selection features six players from Central FC, which won the 2015 Caribbean Football Union Club Championship last month, posting a 2-1 win in the final over fellow Trinidadian side DirecTV W Connection.

Trinidad will open its Gold Cup campaign against Group C rival Guatemala on July 9 in Chicago, before facing Cuba (July 12) and Mexico (July 15).
