PANAMA CITY, Panama – Panama head coach Hernan Dario Gomez has extended invitations to 20 players ahead of two international friendlies later in the month.
The Canaleros will first travel to the Caribbean for a March 27 encounter at Trinidad & Tobago, before returning home to take on another CONCACAF rival -- Costa Rica -- on March 31 at the Estadio Rommel Fernandez.
The roster consists of 16 foreign-based players and four from the domestic league, including Arabe Unido defender Chin Hormechea, who was named to the 2015 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship’s Best XI in January.
Galkeeper Luis Mejia (Fenix/Uruguay) and forward Jorman Aguilar (CA Independiente/ Panama) received their first call-ups.
