PANAMA CITY, Panama – Panama head coach Hernan Dario Gomez revealed Saturday his roster for an international friendly at Mexico on October 12 in Querétaro.
The match is the Canaleros’ first since their third-place finish in the recently completed Central American Cup, which earned them a place in the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Among the 20 players, five ply their trade domestically. All others are based with clubs in the Americas, with the exception of two: defender Luis Henríquez (Lech Poznan/Poland) and Aníbal Godoy (Honved/Hungary).
Forward Blas Perez and defender Roman Torres, each of whom tallied two goals in the Central American Cup, were also called up.
