MEXICO CITY – Mexico will confront South American foes Ecuador and Paraguay in the United States to open its 2015 schedule, it was announced Thursday.
The Mexicans will square off against 2014 FIFA World Cup participant Ecuador on March 28 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The sides last met on May 31, 2014, in Arlington, Texas, a 3-1 win for the Tricolor.
Paraguay will provide the opposition for Mexico three days at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. It will be their first encounter since March 26, 2011, when the Mexicans triumphed 3-1 in Oakland, California.
The friendlies are part of Mexico’s preparations for the 2015 Copa America and 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
