Allstate Save of the Game (Derby Carrillo, El Salvador … 44’)

Starting in place of the injured Benji Villalobos, El Salvador goalkeeper Derby Carrillo made his presence felt just before halftime.  Curacao was awarded a penalty kick for a handball in the box and -- in a bid to dent the Salvadorans’ 2-0 lead -- Gevaro Nepomuceno stepped up to the spot.  After jogging in place, he accelerated towards the ball, striking it towards the left side of the net.  Carrillo was there to make the Allstate Save of the Game.
