MEXICO CITY – Marco Bueno will replace Club America forward Oribe Peralta on Mexico’s roster for an April 15 international friendly at the United States, the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol Asociación announced Friday.
Peralta is suffering from a left-hamstring injury, compelling head coach Miguel Herrera to call-up Bueno, who will be looking to earn his first cap.
The 21-year-old Toluca attacker has two goals in 11 Liga MX outings this season.
He won the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup with Mexico and also played in the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup, scoring once in each competition.
