The $200-million facility -- home to Major League Soccer's (MLS) New York Red Bulls -- is considered one of, if not, the premier purpose-built soccer venue in the United States.

Located only a short distance from New York City, Red Bull Arena sits along the Passaic River in Harrison, New Jersey. Red Bull Arena is the centerpiece of an expansive development that includes retail shops, office space and residential apartments.  It draws praise for its European-inspired design with the first row of seats 21 feet (6½ meters) from the touchline, a translucent roof and 30 luxury suites.

In addition to the Gold Cup, Red Bull Arena has also hosted the 2011 MLS All-Star Game  with Manchester United as the opponent, numerous international friendlies and the 2012 French Trophee Des Champions match between Montpellier and Lyon.
