SANTA CLARA, California – The 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup’s Technical Study Group announced Wednesday that Jamaica’s Andre Blake earned the Golden Glove Award presented by Allstate as the top goalkeeper in the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup.

The 26-year-old custodian appeared in each of the Reggae Boyz’s six games, allowing only two goals and shutting out Mexico twice.  He suffered an injury to his right hand in the 19th minute of the final against the United States.  With the score level at 0-0, Blake left the match.

The Americans ultimately won, 2-1, but despite the final result, the Philadelphia Union star had already made a lasting impression on the competition.
